Do you read Mama Laughlin's blog? If not you totally should. She is hilarious, real, motivaing and inspirational. I somehow stumbled upon her blog back in February and was hooked. (aka-I love to stalk her and want to be her BFF) We do have lots in common: 2 boys, on the weight loss journey, love to hang out in our drive ways all white trash like, Red Raider fans, and I'm sure there are others...but that's not the point of this post.
The point is the Mama Laughlin Fit Camp Challenge-Do a Jillian Michaels video every day during the month of October. I bought The 30 Day Shred back in April after seeing Mamas results. I got about 4 days in and quit. So, I've accepted the challenge and I'm going to stick to it! It's no joke, that shit is hard, like I want to quit as soon as we get to cardio on Level 1, Circut 1. And the devil inside is telling me to stop and take a break but I have made myself push through. It's 20 minutes a day. 20 MINUTES. That's it! If that's all it takes then I have zero excuses not to do it. I've been able to do it consistenly this week while the boys were napping or at school. The real test is going to be the weekend. Why is it we ALWAYS slack on our diet and exercise routine on the weekend? Like it's a vacation from reality or something. It's not. And chances are you are going to pay for it when you step on the scale Monday morning.
I am going to post the dreaded before and after pics as soon as I can get brave enough to let the hubby take the "before" pic. I also took down my measurements. The only pic I am posting today is one of that dirty bastard: The Scale.
