My first iMovie

My brother, Amos, is my idol when it comes to creativity and computers. He knows everything about anything computer related.(biased much?) He served two tours with the Marine Corp and made some amazing videos of his time in Iraq and Afghanistan that used video, pictures and music. {You can check out his YouTube channel here} I have been wanting to learn how make videos like his since Seth was born. I finally got around to looking into it and since my computer is such a piece of crap an old dinosaur with no sound card I haven't been able to download the software. I have an iPad and thought, "I'll just try it on there." No such luck. I know you can't download software to an iPad but I figured you could at least get a similar program. I really couldn't find anything that I was looking for. (that was free) So, I came across the iMovie app and it was $4.99. I'm pretty sure that is the most I've sent on an app ever. It's been sitting there, unused for months. Last night, after uploading the short clips of video I took while at the beach this weekend I decided I was going to give iMovie a try. It took me a while to get it figured out but I think it works great! I'm hoping to get better at it as I go but here it is:

  2. Oh my goodness! It turned out great and those pictures are absolutely precious! I can't believe an app can do that. I have always used Windows Movie Maker.

    Love how it turned out!
