What happened to Monday?

Seriously? I swear I totally skipped a day. Not that it's a bad thing but I must have been on a mental vacation yesterday.  {Ok, side note-it has been cloudy and drizzly all morning. It was totally quiet and peaceful outside and all of sudden it's now raining cats and dogs. It was kind of creepy-dead silence to crazy down pour.} Back to yesterday, I think part of it has to do with the fact that I have not been sleeping well at all lately. I'm talking two or three hours if I'm lucky and it has finally caught up to me. So Sunday night I took an entire Ambien, if/when I take them I usually only take half of one, to help shut my brain off and get some rest. I was so out of it I don't remember J leaving for work, I didn't lock the door behind him (which freaks me out), and I don't remember much of the morning. Talk about a drug induced hangover. Not cool. Yes, I did sleep but I think I will stick to a half pill if necessary.

Last night was the National Championship game. I am a HUGE college football fan! Texas Tech is my main team but Notre Dame is my second favorite. I've been a Red Raider since birth but a Irish fan for about 12 years. Needless to say, I was completely disappointed with the game. I dislike the SEC and hope that the BCS will change to a playoff system similar to the NFL soon! Enough about that!

We had a good weekend. J and I had a date night on Saturday and went to see "This is 40". It was totally hilarious. I think the comedic factor was greatly improved due to the fact that we have kids. I also found it to be very eye opening. I am truly trying to work on myself; to be a better person, wife, mother, business owner; and I think there were a lot of silent truths in the movie. Sunday, my parents took the boys for a few hours. J and I went looking for a new bedding and had a nice quiet lunch. The boys had a blast with gran-gran & g-pa. Lucky for us they also picked up some lovely germs and had diarrhea. (too much info, I know)(but this is where I put it all out there!)
