The Sarchets
My hubby, J, as I like to call him and I have been married for 4 years. We dated for 3 years prior to getting married so it really feels like we've been married forever! (in a good way!) We are both originally from West Texas. Over the past 7 years we have moved to DFW, Houston, and back to DFW. I hope we are here to stay for a while, though we loved Houston and would probably move back if we got the chance. After our last move I was able to become a stay at home mom. It has been one of the greatest opportunities ever and it has also been very challenging.
Seth was born in Kingwood and was only 3 months old when we moved back to DFW. He is the typical mama's boy. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. Seth is the baby that I had been praying for all of my life. After a rough couple of years of planning and trying to have a baby we were blessed with him. He has a strong vocabulary, loves playing outside, his bubba is his best friend and his favorite foods are: mac 'n cheese, bananas, and oreos. He likes Dora the Explorer, Blues Clues, and Team Umizoomi. I'm the mom that is ok with my kid watching tv. I think it is the reason he is so darn smart, know his numbers, colors, and shapes. He also has not had a haircut yet. He was bald for so long. And now he has these amazing curls. I get irked by his bangs being in his face all of the time but I'm just not ready to part with the curls yet.
Caleb was our surprise baby! Seriously! I found out I was pregnant AGAIN on Seth's 4 month birthday. He is completely different from his big brother. Caleb had plagiocephaly & brachiocephaly. He wore a Doc Band for 10 weeks and it completely reshaped his precious little head. He started crawling around 5 months old, pulling up at 6 months old and is darn near walking at 10 months. He loves food. Anything and Everything. He was never a fan a baby food. He wanted the real stuff. Caleb has always been very independent, never one to cuddle or let me rock him to sleep. That's a bit sad for this mama. But he is getting better at snuggling every now and then. One thing he does have in common with Seth is being bald. I am hoping once he does get some hair it will turn into beautiful curls just like big brother.
I am so glad you took the time to stop by my little blog. I hope you find a reason or two to come back and visit often! Thanks for visiting!
